What does ARIA actually change?
- 1How an element looks and how it responds to the keyboard
- 2What assistive tech is told, not how the element behaves
- 3How fast the browser builds the DOM tree of the page
Show the answer
Correct answer: What assistive tech is told, not how the element behaves
Explanation
ARIA adds roles, names and states to the accessibility tree. It adds no focus, keyboard handling or styling; that's still your job.
