How does GET differ from POST?
- ✓Correct answer: GET reads data and mustn't change it, POST sends data to be changed
- 2GET is safer because URL data is encrypted separately from the body
- 3POST is faster because the browser never caches it
Explanation
GET is a safe and idempotent method: it can be cached, retried and prefetched. Parameters are visible in the URL and logs, so secrets must not be sent via GET. POST creates or changes data, and the browser asks before resubmitting a form.
