What does a folder in parentheses do, e.g. app/(marketing)/about/page.tsx?
- ✓Correct answer: Groups routes without affecting the URL - the page is at
/about - 2Makes the route optional: both
/marketing/aboutand/aboutwork - 3Hides the route from the production build
Explanation
Route groups organize code and let a group have its own layout (e.g. separate ones for marketing and the user dashboard) without changing URLs. You can even have several root layouts in different groups.
