What makes a good commit message?
- 1A list of every file that the commit changed
- ✓Correct answer: A short imperative summary, then the why
- 3The ticket number only, with no other text at all
Explanation
For example, "Fix crash when cart is empty", then a blank line and an explanation. The diff already shows what changed; the message should say why.
